Miwa is a kind, timid and compassionate conjurer in training who’s been plying her trade across the Shroud since fleeing from Doma some time ago.

Miwa took refuge along with other refugees in Mor Dhona (Other areas pending), where she started traveling as a healer to help and make a life here in Eorzea. She made the decision to stay as her family had perished during their escape, and she had no home to go back to. She is unable to use offensive magic, understands it's basics, but simply cannot get past that block. With that, she never travels alone and often goes to stationary places for work. Miwa has at times traveled with parties if her services could be utilized that way.

Miwa is almost the picture of a yamato nadeshiko, a Japanese term meaning the "personification of an idealized Japanese woman', or "the epitome of pure, feminine beauty"; poised, decorous, kind, gentle, graceful, humble, patient, virtuous, respectful, benevolent, honest, charitable, faithful. Please also know, she's slightly stubborn, and (not in a bad way) can be silently passive-aggressive when she wishes to correct someone attempting to be a detriment to themselves. Think an Asian (or any other) immigrant mom. Always wanting the best for someone, but sometimes they need to be lead to do better for themselves. As a healer, you can't always just lead a horse to water. You need to give them a reason to drink. (Just like we never actually listen to our doctors in real life, lol.)

Perhaps your character knew, or was a part of Suki's hidden past during her flight from Doma to The Shroud. Were you by chance also on the slave ships? A surviving subject to the experiments, or even a family member/had known of the Thavnarian witch? Heavy dark and mature elements surrounding slavery, human experiments, and sexual elements are a part of this hook. There are no sexual elements with minors, and this is a well-established plot that will not be bent or changed for your character or ideas.Aethersight:

Rumors:"The White Lady"
A healer of some renowned under Ransetsu, a yakuza clan head that killed his benevolent brother after his fathers death to secure his place. He'd ruled his men with fear, terrorizing them for his pleasure. Suki being the only pure thing under him had rumors rise up from that. She'd seemed to have a power over the man, could talk him down and make him accept that she'd not be bedded by him or become his concubine. The only woman he'd ever allowed to let be. What powers does she posses? Was it just that she outwitted him? Did he fear her? Why had he given her what he had, if she'd nothing on him?
